Self Employment Income Support Scheme Urgent Update

Last week the government started contacting self-employed people who they think could be eligible for the Self-Employment Income Support Scheme (SEISS), based on the information provided in the 2018 to 2019 tax return. You may have received an email from HMRC last week with regards to the CJRS, this is the scheme which allows employers to reclaim 80% of furloughed employees wages up to a maximum of £2,500 per employee (plus related employer costs National Insurance and pension).
